�UroToday.com - This study by Dr. Pramod Reddy et al. evaluated the use of tolterodine in children with neurogenic detrusor overactivity. The efficacy of the do drugs was evaluated urodynamically and using parent-completed 3-day bladder diaries. The study was done prospectively. They received drug preparation and dosing based on age.
They found that functional bladder capacity increased within one year in the younger patients just not in the elderly patients. The first condensation in detrusor leak stage pressure did not change in any age mathematical group. The identification number of incontinence episodes reduced for all the patients, as did the number of catheterizations utilized in the 24-hour period to keep dry. The hateful volume per catheterization increased in all subjects. Seven of the 30 subjects who were enrolled showed treatment-related adverse events.
The group complete that tolterodine formulations were effective and well tolerated in children with neurogenic detrusor overactivity. This is a helpful first step since the long-acting tolterodine might play a persona for these children at one time the short-acting dose is tolerated.

Alex Turner To Play Secret Show At Glastonbury Festival
Alex Turner is to play a secret set at Glastonbury tomorrow night.
The Arctic Monkeys singer will perform on The Park stage with The Last Shadow Puppets, he exclusively told Gigwise.
“We may do a little Shadow Puppets thing,” he said. “Why not? I’m exactly sure what’s going on yet, but it’s going to happen.”
His partner in the band, Miles Kane, had just come off the Other Stage after an energetic set with his band The Rascals.
Turner was impressed with the show, and in jovial mood. After signing a fans programme, he accidentally stole Gigwise’s pen. “Have I robbed your pen? Really, are you sure? Ah, there’s a story for you.”
It could be a year of special unannounced gigs at Glastonbury, with Franz Ferdinand also set for a secret Park performance later tonight.

Ange will come back to me, Billy Bob claims
Billy Bob Thornton has slammed Angelina Jolie's relationship with Brad Pitt, and claims the actress will one day return to him.
Thornton - who married Jolie in 2000 after meeting the actress on the set of Pushing Tin, but divorced her in 2003 - says Jolie's relationship with Pitt is just a passing "phase".
"She's just going through a high school phase," Now magazine reported Thornton, 52, as saying.
"You know, dating the quarterback of the football team with Brad Pitt over there. She'll be waking up from that dream in no time.
"Who knows if I'll be there when she's ready to come to her senses, though."
Jolie, 33, and Pitt have been together since 2005 and have a daughter together, along with three adopted children.
Jolie is pregnant with twins and expected to give birth any day now.
