Billy Bob Thornton has slammed Angelina Jolie's relationship with Brad Pitt, and claims the actress will one day return to him.
Thornton - who married Jolie in 2000 after meeting the actress on the set of Pushing Tin, but divorced her in 2003 - says Jolie's relationship with Pitt is just a passing "phase".
"She's just going through a high school phase," Now magazine reported Thornton, 52, as saying.
"You know, dating the quarterback of the football team with Brad Pitt over there. She'll be waking up from that dream in no time.
"Who knows if I'll be there when she's ready to come to her senses, though."
Jolie, 33, and Pitt have been together since 2005 and have a daughter together, along with three adopted children.
Jolie is pregnant with twins and expected to give birth any day now.
